DESCRIPTION:Private Enrollment Class for Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce Members!\n\nWe are excited to offer this fun and interactive training\, courtesy of the Flint & Genesee Certified Tourism Ambassador Program\, on Thursday September 25th\, from 9 a.m. until about 1 p.m. A light breakfast\, and beverages will be provided. The certification fee is normally $30\, but we are offering this training at no cost\, to the first 30 members that enroll. There is a pre-read booklet that everyone is required to read before attending class and a 28-question quiz at the end of the training (open book/class participation).\n\n \n\nA little history about the Program. Almost eight years ago\, Explore Flint & Genesee (Convention & Visitors Bureau) introduced the CTA Program (which is a national\, industry certification) to the area to help increase tourism and change the perception of Flint & Genesee by inspiring local employees\, employers\, volunteers\, and people that live\, work\, and play in our community\, to turn every encounter into a positive experience. When visitors\, and those that call Flint & Genesee home\, have positive experiences they are more likely to return and share these great experiences with others. Everyone benefits!\n\n \n\nThe CTA Program also helps align Flint & Genesee with a positive message about our community and increases the knowledge about our history and tourism that tourists and residents enjoy.\n\n \n\nPlease find attached\, easy directions on how to create a personal CTA account/profile and register for the Thursday\, September 25th training course. The process takes just a few minutes. Please open the attachment and follow the directions of enrolling and becoming a CTA. When you get to the last page (page 5) follow the directions "To become a CTA   complete the enrollment form" and then "Check-Out of the cart."\n\n \n\nHere is the enrollment link to the CTA Network website - https://ctanetwork.com/. Enrollment for each scheduled training course does close two weeks prior so everyone has time to prepare.
