She is also an active member of the American Counseling Association\, reflecting her dedication to ongoing professional development and ethical practice. Her clinical specialties include treating Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)\, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)\, anxiety\, depression\, bipolar disorder\, and autism. Ms. Carlson employs eclectic and neuro-affirming approaches that blend Christian-based counseling with evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)\, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)\, Play Therapy\, mindfulness practices\, and trauma-informed care.
