We Welcome Tim Jones from Genesee County 911 Dispatch Authority.

Tim Jones is the Executive Director of the Genesee County 9-1-1 Authority, appointed in October 2021 after joining the Consortium in 2016. He represents 9-1-1 on the Genesee County Med Control Authority, Fire Chiefs Association, and Police Chiefs Association. Tim also serves as Treasurer for Michigan NENA, Co-Chair of the State Radio Encryption Workgroup, and President of the Michigan Communications Directors Association.

A retired Commander of Field Operations with the Flint Township Police Department, Tim has over 30 years of management experience. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and holds a bachelor’s degree in Leadership in Public Safety from Baker College.
