Julie Lopez is the Executive Director of Crime Stoppers of Flint & Genesee County and a longtime advocate for crime victims and safer communities. Her involvement began after the 2011 unsolved murder of her father-in-law, Pablo Lopez, inspiring her commitment to anonymous tip reporting, victim support, and community engagement. Under her leadership, Crime Stoppers has expanded its use of innovative technology, outreach, and media strategies and earned numerous awards. Julie previously served on the Crime Stoppers USA Board of Directors from 2017–2025 and brings 25 years of business and management experience from the horticulture industry.
