Job Summary

Responsibilities 
  • Safely load, transport, and unload customer items in accordance with state and local laws
  • Serve as the point person in the field for both management and your fellow Luggers
  • Help maintain trucks and equipment with daily inspections and reporting of any observed issues and truck cleaning
  • Maintain and reinforce a safety culture at The Junkluggers
  • Assist in training new hires in subordinate roles
  • Provide operational support when needed, such as dispatching, work in shop, etc.
  • Support recruiting of new team members and promote company values

Qualifications
  • Customer facing job requires: ability to lead 2 person team, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to use company supplied tablet, selling skills, ability and desire to execute jobs efficiently
  • Attention to detail in understanding truck operation, maintenance, and care
  • Exhibit a strong safety attitude and be assertive with others when enforcing safety practices and other company policies
  • Confident and courageous in reporting infractions, accidents, or other issues to management
  • Ability to work full-time, including some Saturdays
  • Valid MI Chauffer's driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Ability to lift and carry 80 lbs, repeatedly 
Compensation: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
